LAYOUT
In general the placement and size of workbenches, shelves, machines, and vehicles
was decided with the goal to maximize the usability of available floorspace.
– All vehicles can be moved without moving any other vehicles, machines etc.
– With the exception of the Lathe, Mill, CNC Mill, Drill Press, Grinder, Buffer and
3DPrinter/Laser/CNC all machines are “on wheels” and can be moved as needed
(e.g. to accommodate large work pieces)
– Machines, jigs, parts etc. which do not need direct access (e.g. air compressor,
dust collector) or are which are not frequently used (car lift, material, lumber,
suitcases, helmets etc.) are stored on high shelves “out of the way”.
